About Sacred Heart Parish

Sacred Heart Parish is “the little parish with the big heart.”  Sustained by the Eucharist and inspired by the undying love of Jesus' Sacred Heart, we worship and work to build a welcoming community of faith that brings love into the world.

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
The full name of our parish, the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, reflects a long and rich devotion in the Roman Catholic Church to the sacrificial and enduring love of Jesus for all. To further explore this devotion, click here (leaving Sacred Heart website).

Korean Catholic Community of Connecticut
Since 2000, Sacred Heart Parish has been honored to host the Korean Catholic Community of Connecticut (KCCC) in our church facilities. Each Sunday, KCCC members gather from across Connecticut for Mass at Sacred Heart, celebrated in Korean by KCCC's pastor, Father Chul Nicholas Lee. Mass is followed by a traditional Korean-style meal in the church hall, CCD classes, and ping-pong. For an interesting introduction to Roman Catholicism in Korea, which has much to teach and inspire all Catholics today, click here (leaving Sacred Heart website).
